Brazil Model dies. I like the way this article was written because it not only informed us about how this model died but also about her current career and the goals she wishes to accomplished. Every time we hear that a model dies the first thing we think of is any eating disorder, since its so common among models. In this case it was a completely different story. Mariana Bridi a brazilian model was at the best point of her life when and infection caused her death. She wished to be a model and with her career help her parents who now suffer for her death. She had done so many things in such little time, she participate in beauty pageants, won bikini contest etc. You could say her dream was in her hands and she was living it to the fullest. A young beautiful woman, first looses her feet then her arms in an attempt of the doctors to save her. In Latin American countries it is harder to obtain a career as a model since many of them are poor countries with little support, so its very sad to hear that a hard worker woman died so sadly. Many of her fans are leaving nice messages on her websites, and we all know shell be remembered by them. Let this article also be dedicated to her.

Residents celebrate opening of Koreatown police station.
I was surprised when i read this article because even though I live close to Koreatown i was not informed about this news. I believe is extremely important and good they have open a new police station in this area. The testimonies of people from the area were very realistic and interesting. People who do not live in these areas are not aware of what really happens in these neighborhoods. In this article we also see how the cherifs seem friendly and we even get an example of a little girl getting a sticker from one of them. I think this is very important because kids in these areas are always in danger because of the gangs around it. We need someone to watch over the kids when they are playing outside or even just making their way to school. Koreatown is very populated and police security is a must. The people that will benefit from these if we thing about it are not only the people who live in Koreatown but also the people who work there, or pass by everyday. It is very important that security is given some importance now days especially when gangs grow bigger everyday or when going to the store across our house is even scary. We should take advantage of these new improvements in this small areas and be thankful for them. Next time you see a cop dont be so rude and give a smile.

Hung Up and drive safety group says was a good article but in my opinion I think it lack some information. Many have been the controversies about why using a cellphone while driving is dangerous or not. In this article we find pros and cons about it but no specific information or examples of why it has been dangerous and it should be banned. Only six states in the United States banned people who drive and talk or drive and text message. It is very difficult to concentrate on the road when you have million of other things running trough your head in a simple cell phone conversation or pointless text message. Even if only one death was caused because of the use of cell phone while driving was reported a year we should be concerned about it and think what if I would of been the victim of that cell phone use? Many have been the cases of car accidents because people are rushed to answer their cell phone or because replying to a text message on time is more important than stopping at a red light. Now that in California it is prohibited to use your cell phone while driving we can think back and realize that if this law passed was because the lives of all drivers and none drivers in California were put in danger. If you look back and think of any news report about a car accident because of text messaging while driving you will find yourself thinking of young people in which this problem is more popular because they think they have everything under control because they are modernized. There is no way of stopping this now even if a law has passed. Teens will keep text messaging while driving and a ticket or two will probably stop them for a week or so. If this is not stopping them what will? their own death? Your still on time, hung up and drive safely.
